Fenugreek is a kind of grain crops are widely grown in Asia and is commonly used by people of India as a spice in food flavoring. Fenugreek is also most often used in making curry.

In India, fenugreek seeds are also used to make yogurt mixture and also used to make a conditioner for hair. Fenugreek is also believed to help overcome the diabetes disease and became one of the ingredients to make bread in Ethiopia.



Fenugreek seeds are rich in polysaccharide galactomannan. Which is usually used to make ice cream quickly so as not to melt. In the traditional Chinese medicine, fenugreek commonly called the Hu Lu Ba is used to treat kidney disease and hernias are also cool.

Fenugreek also has properties to enhance male sexual arousal, as research experts from the Centre for Integrative Clinical and Molecular Medicine in Brisbane, Australia.

In that study, scientists tested this plant herb to 60 healthy men aged between 25-52 years. Each volunteer ate the herb twice a day for six weeks.

Keep in mind, the plant has a Latin name (Trigonella Foenum-graecum), apparently have long been used in ancient Egyptian times to treat fever.
